Havana´s Highlights

We pick you up from your hotel or AirbnB in Havana city at 10:00 am or at 8:00 am if you are staying in Varadero (the starting time of the tour can be adjusted). If you are coming on a cruise then the tour guide would meet you at the designated meeting point which would be provided and confirmed on your booking confirmation.

Coming from Varadero you would drive over the highest bridge of Cuba and would stop at  its look out point where they make the best Piña Colada. During the day you would visit the Highlights of the city, places like the National Capitol, the Central Park, the Grand Theatre, the world famous bar ¨El Floridita¨ (where Ernest Hemingway used to drink his favorite drink ¨Daiquirí¨) and the former Presidential Palace nowadays Museum of the Revolution, all fully restored, speak loud of the splendor and glamour of those past days. Driving by the seawall on the way to the Revolution Square you will see how the old city merges with the new and modern buildings, creating a metaphor of the history of our country.
Once you get hungry, we will go and have lunch at a paladar, a meal that might just become the best one that you will have in Cuba (The average price goes from 15 to 20 CUC/per person).
A very relaxing walking tour of the the four squares of old Havana(Saint Francis of Asissi´s square, Old Square, Main Square and Cathedral Square) is also part of the itinerary. You would stroll down the streets like a local admiring the architecture and the hidden gems only available in this area of the city. Most of all you will get to see the day to day life of the Cuban people. At your request you could also see old Havana off the beaten path, which would allow you to see real Havana and therefore real Cuba, This would be in a non touristy environment which will make your experience more real and unforgettable.
Cuba is best known also by its two premium products, cigars and rum. Always optional and at your request we can take you to the Havana Club Rum Museum (7 CUC/per person) and a cigar factory (10 CUC/per person) where you will see and learn how they are made and where they come from.
Last but not least, we wrap it up enjoying the most breathtaking view of Havana from “El Cristo de la Havana”, the largest sculpture ever made from Carrara white marble by a woman. It´s a breathtaking view that will crown your day and tour.
We drive back to your hotel or the cruise terminal sometime around 16:00 hrs knowing that you just took the best tour to the beautiful Havana and hoping to seeing you again.
